Standing on stage at the Neurapix Conference in Nuremberg, as part of Imaging World, was one of those days I will remember for a long time. I was there as a speaker and as a Neurapix Ambassador.
I will be honest with you: I am not used to speaking in front of a room full of people. I am much more comfortable behind the camera, where my job is to observe and stay in the background. Standing in front of an audience is the opposite. It went better than it has in the past, but I know I still have room to grow. As they say, growth begins outside your comfort zone. That day, I stepped well outside mine.
My Talk: Networking with Empathy
My talk was about something that has shaped my business more than any camera or lens: people. Around 80% of my clients come through recommendations. Nobody finds me by accident. They come because someone they trust told them about me.
That changes how I think about my work. Couples don't just book a photographer. They book an experience and a feeling: the certainty that on their wedding day, someone is there who understands what matters to them. The same goes for the planners, venues, and other vendors I work with. Being recommended starts with being someone people enjoy working with.
In the talk, I shared how I approach this:
- how positioning among other wedding vendors works when you lead with trust rather than price
- why networking only works as give and take
- why, in the end, you are your own USP
People don't recommend a photographer. They recommend the person they felt understood by.

What Neurapix Is, and What It Changed for Me
Neurapix is AI-powered image editing that learns your personal style. Instead of applying a generic preset, it learns from the way I edit and applies that look to new images.
For a wedding photographer, that is a real difference. After a wedding day, I have thousands of images that all need to feel like one story. Neurapix takes over the groundwork of that consistent look. What matters most to me: it gives me time back for the details.
Those details are:
- Skin retouching, so people look like themselves on their best day
- Removing distractions, such as objects, signs, or cables that pull the eye away from the moment
- General refinement of the images, so each one is finished, not just consistent
Before, much of my editing time went into getting the basic look right. Today, that part is done faster, and I can spend my attention where it makes the difference between a good image and a finished one.

Why This Matters for Couples
For you as a couple, it means two things. Your gallery looks cohesive from the first image to the last. And every single photo gets the attention it deserves, because I am not spending my energy on repetitive steps.
Are you a photographer yourself and curious whether Neurapix could give you more time for the details, too? Try it for yourself with my personal link.
Try NeurapixAffiliate link: if you sign up through it, I may receive a commission, at no extra cost to you.
Thank You
The feedback after my talk was very positive, and it meant a lot to me. Thank you to the Neurapix team for the invitation, and to everyone I met in Nuremberg. I am already looking forward to my next appearance.
If you are planning your wedding and want images that feel personal, from the first look to the last dance, I would love to hear from you.
